Whether I'm taking a photo or filming a video, I attempt to shoot at unique and rarely thought of angles to yield results that differ from my fellow creatives documenting and capturing life around the world. Based on feedback, support, and my own perspective; I think I'm steadily accomplishing this task of separating my work and developing my own general style.
New photos are up under both Vertical Photos & Horizontal Photos! The balance (in amount) between vertical and horizontal has grown to be not too even anymore, but nonetheless a picture is a picture so it doesn't matter too much. Of course though, I'm still going to maintain a variety by keeping the Vertical Photos steadily updated.
New photos are now up under both Vertical Photos & Horizontal Photos! Starting with this batch, I'm going to try and add more pictures than I have been. Although previously I mentioned that I would only pick the cream of the crop, I believe this method leads me to be a bit too picky concerning which to post and not to post, ultimately not providing enough images for you all to feast your eyes upon. Hence, expect bigger photography updates on here (like this one - or bigger) as of now.
I am sometimes asked why I don't put captions for my photos and it has even been suggested that I should, or at least put a small description. To me, a lot of these photos aren't easy to describe right away. I know what you're thinking, all the more reason to use captions to explain! However, since they are mysterious I leave my "captures"(photos) captionless as it lets people's minds wander, thoughts explore, and imaginations detonate. More fun that way, don't you think? I will however, answer any and all questions pertaining to where a photo is or what it is of, and such. I just won't volunteer it immediately. That's all. I want to start this post off by discussing something that some of you may not realize. Though I don't post an insane amount of photos on the site, I shoot A LOT. So much so, that I've had to go through my photos to free up space on my hard drive as my computer was reaching full capacity. Basically, for the site my goal is to choose the cream of the crop. As a matter of fact, it's actually a combination of that along with ones I feel are unique and provide a different look or feel than what people are used to.
On that note, a new batch of new photos are now up! Check them out under both Vertical Photos & Horizontal Photos. Also, a brother of photography can unmistakably be identified as videography. Next week I'll make a post regarding my decision to dive into this new realm of creativity. Accompanying the post will also be a new video! Stay tuned! Some new photos are up under Horizontal Photos.
Big announcement to come within the next few days as well. Stay tuned. 2010.
As this interesting decade comes to an end, many find themselves reflecting back upon these last ten years and as usual more importantly this past year in particular. However, though that is not necessarily a bad thing, it's more important to focus on the future. This is a new start. Start dreaming. Dreaming big. Bigger than the universe. Think limitless, no boundaries. This new year also brings in many new changes to the site. Every single page on the site has been altered, even if it is just a little detail. I'll let you all search for those on your own but the more important new features I would like to mention include: -New Home Page Image -New Banner (yes, the photo in the background is mine) -New photographs up on both Photography sections -New mug up under Merch An Dice -New newspaper cartoon up under The Twilight Zone Also, as I touched upon in the previous post, expect the unexpected from I.D. in 2010. I'll leave it at that. Well, I'll finish with a toast. Here's to 2010, sure to be an incredible year filled with good times, memories, and happiness. Well, this post wraps up this miniature photography project I've been doing. Don't worry though, this doesn't mean there won't be photographs posted anymore. I'm always shooting and don't forget that there will still be more a two or three more random posting of a group of images between now and the end of the year. One or two before Christmas, and one more between Christmas and the end of the year. The amount of pictures in these groups could range from 2 to 10. Who knows...Let it be a surprise of this wonderful holiday season.
Anyway, remember you can view these photos bigger in the Vertical Photos & Horizontal Photos sections! Enjoy! Week three of the mini photo project has arrived. Once again, you can see the pictures below bigger in the Vertical Photos & Horizontal Photos sections! Enjoy!
